When the sunsets the light switches ON automatically and burns for about 4 hours and turns OFF automatically.A manual switch will be provided to run the light for another 4 hours in case of emergency conditions. 5-8 hours of sunlight in the day is far more enough to light the home in the night. Once the lithium battery is fully charged it can support 10 non sunshine days.
